‘Balance Information Day’

Education Centre, Room 137/138

Freeman Hospital,

On Saturday 28th November, from 9:30am - 2pm.

 

Guest speakers will talk about the nature of balance disorders, treatment and our very own support group for patients.

Tea/coffee and a questions/answers session provided.

Parking available in pay and display Multi-storey car park

9.30am Visitors arrive (coffee and tea on arrival)

 

10.00am -10.45am Introduction and Mr I Johnson ENT consultant on the balance system

 

10.45am -11.30am Ménière’s Society on MD and the work of the Society

 

11.30am -12.00pm Gerardine Fagan on Employment Law

 

12.00pm -12.45 pm Lunch and stalls (RNID, Medic-Alert, Sarabec, Liveasy, NE1 Dizzy etc)

 

12.45pm -1.30 pm Val Tait on living with a chronic health problem

 

1.30pm - 2.15 pm Emma Loader on patient’s perspective and self-help group

 

2.15 pm Questions and close of meeting

 

3.00 pm – Room closed

 

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served during the morning and at lunch time.  The members of NE1 Dizzy are running a home-made cake stall.   The Education Centre is near to the restaurant if anyone wishes to buy a meal.
